Boulder Campground (Rock Lake)

Located in St. Croix State Forest, managed by St Croix State Park. On Rock Lake, swimming/water access, fishing, nature trails (25mi), 6 picnic sites, fees.

NOTE: The state parks may not be open this year due to fruity state budget stuff. Alternative options are being looked into. New information will be added to this page as it's discovered.

  • It is O.K. to gather wood that is dead and lying on the ground (bottom of page)

Directions

From Hinckley take State Hwy. 48 east from I-35, 23 mi. to Co. Rd. 173/Grace Lake Rd.; Turn left and go north on 173 for 5 mi. to the Tamarack Forest Rd.; Turn right and follow the forest road approx. 5 mi. to campground. (Stay right at the fork near the end of the 5 miles.)
